It's time for Oregon to lead the way on gun safety.

Every year, nearly 1,300 children in the U.S. die from gunshot wounds. Nearly 6,000 more are treated for gunshot wounds. Imagine how many of those deaths could be prevented if guns were safely locked out of reach.

In Seattle, they're not imagining. They're acting.

This summer, Seattle passed a citywide ordinance to require residents to safely store their guns.

Americans everywhere understand how important safe storage is to preventing gun accidents and the impact it could have in reducing mass shootings. But so far, only one state has passed a law requiring all citizens to safely store their firearms.

It's time for Oregon to lead the way.

Chip in now to join the movement to bring safe gun storage to Oregon.
