We're excited to endorse many candidates in the state House and Senate on the Nov. 6 ballot. Please review the list below and make note of the candidates we support in your district. And then vote!

These candidates have demonstrated that they agree with us that the best way to reduce gun violence in Oregon is to focus on safe storage of firearms. This common-sense approach is something we can all agree on.

Safe gun storage is based on the simple concept that preventing children, thieves and others from gaining unauthorized access to firearms may be the most important part of responsible gun ownership.

Other states have already passed similar measures, and it's time that Oregon does, too.

For a quick reminder of the many reasons safe gun storage can help reduce gun violence, accidental shootings and suicides, please see the fact sheet here.

In these challenging times, no conversation would be complete without a stern reminder about the importance of voting. Safe gun storage is one very important issue on the political horizon, but it's not the only one. WE CAN'T OVERSTATE THE IMPORTANCE OF VOTING IN THIS (AND EVERY) ELECTION!

Please mark your ballots for these strong candidates who support our cause:

Remember that the only vote you can be sure won't count is the one you don't cast. Please check that you're registered to vote, and then participate in the most basic right we enjoy as Americans – VOTE!
